Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian shadow fleet tankers
Ukraine conducted multiple attacks using underwater drones and sea drones on Russian shadow fleet tankers in the Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea. Attacks occurred in late November and December 2025, hitting tankers including the Sea Baby and the Valery Gorchakov. Ukraine's SBU claimed responsibility for strikes that caused fires and explosions on Gambian-flagged and Russia-flagged vessels.
